Xavier College is looking for an experienced and people-focused People and Culture Advisor. This position plays a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle across the College, including recruitment, onboarding, HR compliance, employee relations, and generalist HR support.
The successful candidate will bring strong HR experience, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a commitment to the values and educational mission of Xavier College.
Tenure: Immediate start - 📍 Kew, VIC | 🕐 Full Time, Fixed Term until 19 December 2025 | Onsite, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide generalist HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and contract preparation
- Support employee relations matters including performance and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with College policies, child safety standards, WWCC/VIT and mandatory training
- Manage HRIS data entry, reporting and audits
- Oversee professional learning coordination and assist with staff wellbeing initiatives
- Contribute to HR projects, events, and continuous improvement across the College
